Memory Baby Quilt
Memory Quilt Infant (finished size 42 X 44) - $130.95 FREE SHIPPING to one US Address.
Memory Baby Quilts can be made from any type of fabric but the preferred fabrics are: Cotton, Flannels, Cotton Blends and other woven non-stretch fabrics.Infant Memory Quilts can be made from your child's baby clothes but please remember that it will take 4 - 5 times as many outfits as it would if you used a receiving blanket, towel, sheets or even Maternity Clothing. Most infant clothing I can only use the back of the outfit as there are snaps etc on the fronts of shirts and gowns etc. Baby Memory Quilts finished size is 42 X 44 but may be slightly larger.
Memory Baby Quilts can be customized by adding embroidery to blocks or even adding pictures. Please note that if you choose to add pictures the blocks with pictures will be printed on a special treated fabric which will either be white or off-white in color. Embroidery will be done on your fabric when possible (unless the embroidery will not show up on it - example: printed fabric does not show off embroidery well.) If your fabric will not work for the embroidery then it will be done on a plain cotton or cotton blend fabric - fabric may be white, off-white or whatever color I think will enhance the look of the quilt and embroidery.
Memory Baby Quilts backing will be chosen to set off the front of the quilt and will be cotton or cotton blend. If you have a preference for a certain backing color I will do my best to find one that is cotton or cotton blend - so please give me a first and second choice for backing colors. If you do not specify a backing color then I will choose one that goes best with your fabrics. Note: Backing fabrics for Infant Memory Quilts may be plain or have a pattern depending on what is available and what looks best.
All Memory Baby Quilts have a lightweight poly-batting for warmth without all the bulk. Infant Memory Quilts can also be made from Grandma and Grandpa's clothing for an extra special "heirloom" quilt to give your infant so they always have Grandma and Grandpa close.
